Are you getting ready to have a baby? You can conduct a Non-Invasive Pre-Natal Paternity DNA test (NIPP) during your initial stages of pregnancy. This is a safe, non-invasive procedure that has no side effects for the mother or the baby and is 100% safe for both.

A Pre-natal DNA test of the unborn fetus has been scientifically advanced and has become safer than previous amniocentesis procedures. This breakthrough in Non-Invasive Prenatal DNA testing has contributed to individuals’ peace of mind and mitigates anxiety for the duration of the pregnancy.
SmarTest Labs headquartered in Gaithersburg and serving the Maryland, VA, and WA DC area, recognizes the need for this test. We conduct Non-Invasive Prenatal Paternity tests (NIPP test), and we are AABB certified. Our collectors and scientists are trained to conduct this test with 99.99% accuracy.

The testing process is conducted following a strict chain of custody, all NIPP tests conducted are done to court-admissible standards.
Pre-natal DNA testing does not disclose the gender of the baby.

What is Non-Invasive Pre-Natal DNA Test (NIPP)

If you are pregnant and need to find out the father of your baby, this test is for you. An NIPP test will give you 99.9% accurate results determining if the alleged father who was tested is, in fact, the biological father. You will have to be within 7 – 8 weeks (about 2 months) along in your pregnancy.

How Does the Testing Process Work?

The process includes a blood draw from the mother and a cheek swab from the father. The fetal DNA will be separated from the mother’s DNA and then compared with the father’s genetic markers. These markers will be scientifically analyzed by our pre-natal DNA scientists to determine if the father is the potential father of the child.

The results of the test will be presented to you in a certificate. You will be requested to provide SmarTest Labs with all approvals for the release of information to the various parties.
